HEAR YE! The FREE PEOPLE of this TOWNSHIP are summoned to attend a CANDIDATE FORUM where those seeking PUBLIC OFFICE shall declare their PLATFORMS! Let all CITIZENS come forth to question these CANDIDATES, that we might elect those best suited to guard our LIBERTIES!

Remember, fellow PATRIOTS, as we mark 250 YEARS since our forebears first took up arms for LIBERTY, an informed vote remains our surest defense against TYRANNY! The TORCH of FREEDOM passes now to our generation!

ABOUT THE FORUM - Candidates & Voters

Date: May 6, 2025, 7PM

Sutton High School Auditorium

All candidates for elected office in the 2025 town election are invited to participate in the 2025 Sutton Votes Candidate Forum. This event is non-partisan and is intended to help local voters better understand who the candidates are, and how they approach their intended office.

This is a moderated Q&A, not a debate. Questions will come from moderator Paul Schaefer, with presubmitted audience questions included as time allows. All questions must be asked respectfully to be considered.

Candidates for each position will receive the moderated questions in advance of the forum, giving them time to prepare.

YOUR VOICE, YOUR TOWN: This forum offers candidates their best platform to connect with voters and share their vision for Sutton's future. For voters, it's your chance to see beyond campaign materials and evaluate who will truly represent your interests in town government.

ALL CANDIDATES ARE INVITED, EVEN IF RUNNING UNOPPOSED.

CIVILITY AND DECORUM ARE A MUST FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE.

Citizens may submit their questions for the candidates through the form below (scroll down).

Submit a Candidate Question

We are unable to host an open mic event, but we will facilitate as many questions from the public as time allows.
